Welcome to Decadent, the fanlisting for the Art Deco movement. This covers all aspects of the Art Deco period, including visual arts (painting, sculpture, fashion, graphic, film) and decorative arts (interior design and architecture). A popular international design movement, it peaked in the Roaring Twenties through to the 1930s. This style was seen as purely decorative, with a strong emphasis on modernity, opulence, function and elegance. Its influence is still strong today with many existing examples of the Deco style in design and architecture around the world.
